Lauren Holtz, a senior at Homestead High School , signed her National Letter of Intent to run cross country and track for the Wisconsin Badgers.
- She was the 2011 D1 WIAA 6th place finisher in the 800m run with a time of 2:14.99
- She has been a D1 WIAA state qualifier leading Homestead 's 4x800m relay to 8th, 3rd, and 5th place finishes
- She was the 2011 North Shore Conference Champion in both Indoor and Outdoor 800m run
- She has been a D1 WIAA state qualifier all four years in cross country and helped Homestead to 8th, 4th, and 18th place finishes
- She has been a four-time MVP in Cross Country and four-time Wisconsin Academic All-State Individual
