New Orleans, La. - Ten members of the 2012 UW-La Crosse men's track & field squad have been named to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III All-Academic Team. A total of 226 student-athletes representing 84 institutions compose the group. UW-L's 10 All-Academic selections were the second-most in Division III behind only Haverford College (Pa.) with 12.

Waukesha (West) earned individual All-Academic status with cumulative grade point averages of 3.30 or greater.
Cooper earned National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) III Indoor All-America honors in 2012 with a seventh-place finish in the weight throw while Rohlman and Tehan were members of UW-L's sixth-place distance medley relay.
At the outdoor national championships, Tehan earned All-America accolades as a member of the seventh-place 4x400-meter relay while Burish (fifth) and Rohe (seventh) earned All-America honors in the pole vault.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met either of the following athletic standards: a student-athlete must have competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship or finished the regular season ranked in the national top 35 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 25 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.
UW-L tied for fifth at the 2012 NCAA Division III Championships and placed second at the outdoor meet.
The Eagles swept the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Indoor and Outdoor titles in 2012. It was UW-L's 11th straight indoor conference crown and 22nd consecutive outdoor title.
