Saint Mary's No Limit Invitational Results
Winona, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's cross country finished third at the Saint Mary's University (Minn.) No Limit Invitational Friday afternoon. The Eagles totaled 45 team points while Saint Mary's was first with 37 and UW-Eau Claire second with 44. UW-L's
Sam Simones placed fourth overall with a time of 27:26.5 on the 8,000-meter course. A total of 83 runners competed.
Wartburg College (Iowa) was fourth as a team (98 point) followed by UW-River Falls (167), Martin Luther College, Minn. (230) and Winona State University, Minn. (233).
The Eagles'
Mike Keller plaed seventh overall (27:33.8) while
Carlton Folster was ninth (27:54.5). UW-L's
Matt Eidenschink finished 10th (27:59.9) while
Alex Barbeln was 15th (28:08.5) and
Mike Glaser placed 25th (28:48.5).
Aaron Haley of Saint Mary's won the individual title (26:52.3).
UW-L returns to action Saturday, September 29 at the University of Minnesota Griak Invitational at 10:40 a.m.
