MileSplit50 Girls Outdoor 2019

Rank Athlete/Team Comments

Continued her rapid assault on the record books, hitting a US No. 2 time of 11.02 (+0.8) in the 100m at The Great Southwest Classic. She added a win in the 200m in 22.88 seconds. She remains the clear favorite to take the trophy. But with no competition until the Jamaican Senior Trials, she will have to wait to see if someone makes a run at the top spot.

We only have two more weeks left of the MileSplit50, and the biggest question is whether Mu can record a performance or two that ascends her to No. 1. She's scheduled to compete at both New Balance Nationals and USA Juniors -- or Seniors, TBD. If she throws down world-level times in the 400m and 800m, this could be an argument.
3
After a long year, Tuohy finished 2019 with one more win and a cap to her junior season. She ran a US No. 2 time of 9:21.90 in the 3K, earning her third straight title in the event. After confirmation from coaches, that also caps the season for Tuohy, who ran 2:11.01 in the 800m, 4:25.21 in the 1500m, 4:46.24 in the 1-mile and 9:53.30 in the 3200m. She has decided to bypass an attempt at hitting the world standard in the 5K.
4
Ford shot back up the charts after her US No. 14 all-time performance of 51.57 in the 400m at Great Southwest. Coupled with her 23.30 in the 200m, Ford has two incredible outings across 2019. Ford's season isn't finished, either.
