New Orleans, La. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse head men's track & field coach Josh Buchholtz has been selected the 2012 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Midwest Region Outdoor Coach of the Year as voted by the Midwest Region coaches. 

Buchholtz was named the 2012 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Men's Coach of the Year by the league coaches.  He led the Eagles to their 22nd straight first-place league trophy with two individuals and two relays earning first-place finishes. 

He secured the WIAC coaching honor for the fourth consecutive season after leading UW-L to its 48th outdoor title in school history.

UW-L is set to compete in the 2012 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships May 24-26 in Claremont, California.
