Luther College Dual Results
Decorah, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's cross country competed at Luther College (Iowa) in a dual Friday night. The Norse won the dual with 18 team points while the Eagles finished with 42. Three UW-L student-athletes placed in the top-10 Friday, including
Allison Richman who finished third overall with a time of 15:40.2 on the 4,000-meter course.
Krystina Hoey was seventh (15:51.4) for the Eagles while
Alyssa Shurbert-Hetzel placed ninth (15:58.8).
Other runners in the top-14 for UW-L included
Hannah Heidvogel finishing 11th (16:07.6),
Katie Henriksen 12th (16:10.5),
Kelsey Boyle 13th (16:11.0) and
Kelsey Osborn 14th (16:16.1).
Katie Oden placed 18th (16:24.7) for the Eagles while
Julia Barnes was 22nd (16:38.6),
Hannah Utzman 24th (16:38.8),
Rachel Miller 25th (16:44.9),
Julie Rademacher 27th (16:46.4),
Kelsey Heinz 29th (16:48.9),
Karyn Genrich 30th (16:50.9),
Hayley Gerster 34th (17:25.3),
Erin McKenna 36th (17:28.8) and
Amy Bye 39th (17:41.7).
Luther's Lauren Mordini won the individual title (15:20.3). A total of 42 runners competed.
UW-L returns to action Saturday, October 27 at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships. The meet begins at 1 p.m. at Cole Acres Golf Course in Cuba City, Wisconsin.
