In pursuit of warmer weather and faster times, several Wisconsin runners from the Southeast Wisconsin Track Club traveled to compete at the AAU National Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Fla. over the weekend.
Notable performances for the state and Southeast Wisconsin Track Club include Michael Cabaltera who placed 147th with a time of 17:20.12.
On the girls' side, Audrey Amaya had the highest-placing finish of Wisconsin competitors. Amaya improved upon her former season best time (WIAA D1 State - 23rd, 19:13) and ran a PR of 19:06.15 for a 54th place finish at the AAU National Cross Country Championships.
