In his first-ever high school indoor meet, Onalaska freshman Manny Putz ran 4:34.12 in the 1600M for first place at the Decorah High School Indoor Invitational. The time ranks him 14th in the state up to this point in the 2022 indoor season. Putz is coming off of a breakout cross country season, where he stepped in as Onalaska's number-one runner, playing a key role in the team's division one state championship.
