Preview the Wisconsin boys' talent competing at the 2022 Champs Sports Midwest Region XC Championships this weekend!


Manny Putz So., Onalaska

2022's Division 1 WIAA State Champ - pictured above running stride for stride to a narrow win in 15:26. Notably ran a time of 14:50 earlier this season at the Steve Johnson/Dan Huston Invitational in Iowa.


Owen Bosley Sr., Homestead

Placed 5th at Division 1 WIAA State. Bosley ran a 15:05 personal best effort at Midwest Invite earlier this year, and is a returner from last year's Midwest Regional Championships. Catch highlights from last year's race HERE!


Aaron Schimke - Sr., Kaukauna

Placed 6th at Division 1 WIAA State in 15:47. Schimke holds a current PR of 15:28 and is a returner from last year's Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships.


Grady Lenn - Fr., De Pere

Wisconsin's standout freshman, who wasted no time getting out in front of races with all top 3 finishes leading into state. Lenn placed 7th at D1 State and holds a freshman season PR of 15:44. 



Eli Boppart - Sr., Mauston

2022's Division 2 WIAA State runner up in 16:03. Boppart followed up his senior state race with a fresh PR of 15:40 at Team Heartland Regional Championships. Midwest Regional Cross Country Championship returner.



Alex Peterson - Sr., Gillett

Placed 8th at Division 2 WIAA State in 16:30. Peterson holds a senior season PR of 15:56, which he ran at the Shawano Hawk Invite.
