Already a star sprinter and jumper for Whitefish Bay, Landon Gallun has taken his performance to another level this indoor track and field season, a season in which he has dominated the Midwest. Long a standout athlete, Gallun has taken his game to another level in 2023 and has kept that momentum into 2024.
Gallun has won five of his seven finals on the season in the 60m dash and the 400m. His big wins on the season include the 60m title at the CYUP Misfits Invite, the 60m title at the AAU Northern Indoor National Invitational and the 200m title at the Gately Park Open, with all meets happening in Chicago.
His most impressive performacne though came in the prelims at the CYUP Misfits Invite when he ran a 22.05 in the 200m to beat the rest of the field by 0.35 seconds and set a new #4 all-time indoor time for Wiscononsin.

Gallun has consistently run great 200m times this season, owning four of the top five times for Wisconsin boys this season, with his slowest being 22.23. His time of 22.05 currently ranks tied for 70th nationally this indoor season.

On top of his 200m exploits, Gallun has also been Wisconsin's top 60m dash runner this season with the #1 timein the state this season with a time of 6.89. He owns the top four times for all Wisconsin boys this season and is tied for 35th nationally in the event.

Gallun is currently in the midst of a special indoor season and he will get many more opportunities before it is over to make his lasting mark during his senior season.
