Continuing her remarkable journey at Notre Dame, Jadin O'Brien successfully defended her NCAA Indoor pentathlon championship this season, setting new records along the way. O'Brien not only secured her second consecutive victory but also shattered The Track at New Balance's facility record with an impressive score of 4,497, surpassing the previous record of 4,329.
Having placed 4th at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in her first two collegiate years, Jadin O'Brien, a graduate of DSHA, has now solidified her status as a legend at Notre Dame and in NCAA history, claiming two indoor titles.

O'Brien started out her day with a strong 4th place hurdles performance, just off her PR of 8.32 from last year's indoor championships. She then finished 14th in the high jump, falling off her pace from her 2023 title. O'Brien rebounded from there, winning the shot put after finishing 2nd last year, and then nearly matching her performances from 2023 in the long jump and 800m.
The result...another NCAA title and a similar score to her 4,512 points scored in 2023!
