Aidan Hayes, Lee's Summit

The senior had a throw of 161 feet, 1 1/4 inches/49.41m to break the school record for the Tigers on Friday at the Ron Ives Invitational at Liberty.

Carson Driemeier, Festus

The sophomore took first place in the 3,200-meter run at the Festus McCullough-Doulgas Invitational on Saturday, running a personal-best and MO#1 9:11.71. He ran a 9:35 at state last year and took seventh in Class 4. The performance put Driemeier 5th All-Time on the Missouri MileSplit performance list for sophomores in the event. 

Blayden Pruett, Grain Valley (pictured above)

The junior set a new school record for the Eagles with a MO #5 throw of 171 feet, 4 inches/52.22m to take first place at the Bob Thorpe Invitational on Friday at Ray-Pec. That broke his previous mark set at last year's state finals, where he took sixth in Class 5.

Montarion McAfee, Blue Springs

A returning Class 5 state finalist,  the senior opened the 2024 season by winning the 110-meter hurdles in 14.69 at the Ron Ives Invitational on March 22 in Liberty. The performance puts McAfee atop the state season list in the event.
