The 'Freshman Girls Performer of the Year' poll received over 41,000 votes, with Emma Lagerwall of Sun Prairie West taking home the title with 55.29% of the votes (22,705). Emma's standout performance came at the WIAA D1 Sectional (Oregon) on October 26, where she ran a personal best of 18:47.70. Congratulations, Emma, on an impressive season!
The 'Sophomore Girls Performer of the Year' award goes to Natalie Schultz of Neenah, who dominated the poll with 76.04% of the votes (146). Natalie's best time of the season came at the Midwest Invitational on September 28, where she ran 18:43.40, marking a personal best at the time. She recently surpassed that with a new personal best of 18:40.50 at the Nike Cross Nationals Heartland Regional on November 10. Congratulations, Natalie, on an outstanding season!
The 'Junior Girls Performer of the Year' award goes to Katie Rea of Wauwatosa East, who earned 57.34% of the votes (82). Katie's standout performance came at the Arrowhead Invitational on October 5, where she ran a personal best time of 18:17.00. Congratulations, Katie, on a fantastic season!
The 'Senior Girls Performer of the Year' award goes to Mallory Kohn of Dodgeland, who received 86.67% of the votes (39). Mallory's best time of the season came at the Trailways Conference Championship on October 17, where she ran a personal best of 17:22.90. Congratulations, Mallory, on a great season!
