Spencer Middle School Track Meet
April 14th 2022
Attention Middle School Track &
Field Coaches,
We're looking forward to our MS
Meet on April 14th!Field
events will start at 4:30 with running events starting at 5:15.We will allow a maximum of 3 events per
athlete with a max of 2 running or 2 field, relays DO count as a running event.It will be unlimited entries in every event
as long as individual athletes do not exceed the maximum entry limit. We do
have 11 teams so we do ask that you do not load up your 100meter dash entries,
we will not put hard restrictions on this as it is early but we would appreciate
your help in not overloading the 100s, this will help us all get home at a reasonable
time!We also have no restrictions on
relays, which is a great way to get kids involved that need an event!
There will be a Coaches meeting at
4:00pm by the 100 meter start line.
Currently we have Long Jump listed
as open pit, if entries are over the top we might try and organize that into
flights, which we'll go over at the coaches meeting.
Teams Attending: Athens, Columbus,
Gilman, Loyal, Nekoosa, Owen-Withee, Phillips, Pittsville, Spencer, Stratford,
Thorp.

AT 9PM!!You should also have received
an Invite to register from milepslit.Please have you coaches go into milesplit BEFORE the deadline and be
sure they have "claimed" their team as a coach, that process can take a day or
so, so do NOT wait!
We will also be running a Banana
Sprint Medley relay at the end of the meet after the 1600 relay.This event will have a banana as a baton, and
will be a 100x100x200x400.This event
will also NOT count as one of your 3 entries and we encourage as many as
possible to enter this event as a fun way to end the meet.The Banana relay will not be scored and is
NOT listed on the milesplit.com website.
There will be concessions on site!!
Listed below is the order of
events.Girls will run first in all
running events.We may combine boys
& girls if possible in some events. Depending on numbers we may alter the
order of field events (Boys or Girls first) Opening heights will be set at the
coaches meeting, we will try to be as accommodating as possible with those.
