DePaul Cross County Enters BIG EAST Conference Championships

Halloween might be just around the corner, but the DePaul men's and women's cross country teams have more pressing matters on their minds than costumes and candy: the 2009 BIG EAST Conference Championships. The Blue Demons return to the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wis. on Saturday, Oct. 31 after testing the terrain three weeks ago at the Lucian Rosa Invitational.
WVU Takes Second at BIG EAST

By Kelly Tuckwiller for MSNsportsNET.com October 31, 2009 MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The No. 4 West Virginia University cross country team finished second this afternoon at the BIG EAST Championship held at the Wayne E. Dannehl National XC Course in Milwaukee, Wis. The Mountaineers finished at the No. 2 spot for the second-straight year. Villanova took first with 30 points, while WVU followed with 74, Syracuse with 84, Georgetown with 92 and Providence with 108. (click on the title for the complete article)
