Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Championship 2011

Led by a first-place finish in the pentathlon from freshman Megan Marchildon (Ypsilanti, Mich./Lincoln Consolidated) and the Flyers' Distance Medley relay, the Lewis University women's track and field team is currently sitting in first place after Day One of the 2011 Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Championships, held at UW-Parkside.

KENOSHA, Wisc.--The women's 4x200 relay team and men's pole vaulter Bryan Gennett captured victories on the opening day of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. Both men's and women's teams placed fourth after finals were conducted in six events for both the men and women on Friday.
