Saturday at the CYUP Misfits Invitational marked a strong day for sophomore Delea Martins. Competing for the Milwaukee Mustangs, she took home a first place finish in the 300m (39.51) and set a new PR of 7.81 in the 60m. "I've just been working really hard, so it's really nice to have it finally pay off," Martins said in a post-race interview. "I'm really happy with the results I've been having and happy to be running." The PR performance earned her a second place finish, behind Wings of Glory senior Jetta Mays (7.72).
