ABOUT THE WISCOMILE
A last-chance mile race with a great festival atmosphere - music, race announcers, pace-setters, and if you're fast enough, the opportunity to obtain the coveted pineapple.
The WiscoMILE has races for all levels, ages and talents - including middle school, community, masters and elite divisions.
THIS YEAR'S WISCOMILE
With 16 races and over 325 middle-distance runners lining up at the start, the 2022 WiscoMILE promises an electric night of racing. Mile race divisions range from middle school to elite. In the high school division, runners will have the opportunity to compete in a 2000M steeplechase race.
The 2022 Womens' Super Mile is packed with high school talent - top seeds include Roisin Willis and future Stanford teammate Ava Parekh (Chicago, IL), along with Monona Grove freshman Mackenzie Babcock, who is coming off a state championship 1600m run this past Saturday.
Willis will make an attempt at cracking her mile record to become the first Wisconsin high school girl under 4:40.
The 2022 Mens' Super Mile also brings significant talent, with five runners seeded 4:04 or better. Last year, the WiscoMILE saw three break the 4-minute mark in the same race - a first for Wisconsin racing.
