On Saturday, controversy emerged during the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division I Girls 1600m Championship when Shea Ruhly was disqualified for false starting at the line. Ruhly appealed the decision on the track, and officials met to discuss the initial call. After deliberation, the Wisconsin officials stuck to their original call and ruled the Middleton runner out of the race. Ruhly was devastated. Check out the race above.
