FRCC track and field meet: Preble boys, Bay Port girls win titles

MANITOWOC — The Green Bay Preble boys track and field team took home the Fox River Classic Conference Meet title for the 13th time in the past 14 years on Tuesday afternoon, winning nine events at Ron Rubick Municipal Field. Jake Wallenfang posted two conference meet records; one in the 200 meters (21.80 seconds) and the other in the pole vault (14 feet). Robert Starnes also had a big day for the Hornets with a conference meet record-tying long jump of 21-8¼ and also winning the high jump (6-4). Green Bay Preble swept the relays.
