Cochrane-Fountain City's Addy Duellman returns after winning the D3 state title by 10 seconds in 18:58. Since her freshman victory, Duellman has earned a podium finish on the track in the 1600m, and placed runner-up in the Maroon race at the Roy Griak Invitational.

Duellman will again compete with Autumn Michalski for the individual title. Michalski, who placed third in last year's competition, looks to punctuate a 9-victory season with a state title. The senior OSU commit's personal best stands at 17:18.

Freshman individual qualifier Maggie Behler (Kohler) and Dodgeland junior Mallory Kohn also have potential to be top finishers, with season bests of 18:16 and 18:31, respectively.

Heading into the competition, Darlington's Adalee Berget and Assumption's Lucy Dolan hold season bests of 18:40 and 17:59, respectively. Each will lead top-ranked state teams on Saturday.

Dolan placed fourth individually at last year's championships.
