Hartman or Gremban for D2 Distance Titles?

A couple of underclassmen phenoms will be the ones to beat for several D2 titles, with freshman Ciara Hartman and sophomore Elletta Uddin leading the way. Both girls ranks #1 for Division 2 in Wisconsin this year, with hartman #1 in the 1600m and 3200m, and Uddin #1 in the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles.

The freshman phenom for Bloomer, Hartman will be competing at her first Wisconsin State Track and Field Championships in the 1600m and 3200m. She comes in as the #1 ranked runner in D2 with times of 4:54.97 in the 1600m and 10:38.88 in the 3200m. Her chief competition in both events will come from Northland Pines senior and 2x defending State Champion Nora Gremban who owns times of 4:55.47 and 10:53.61 this season. She also owns a lifetime PR of 4:53.30 in the 1600m. It should be another great battle between the two after Gremban beat out Hartman at the Sectional in the 1600m by 0.36 seconds and Hartman beating Gremban in the 3200m by 36 seconds.
