Sprints
Ben Hoeppner (New Richmond) delivered one of the biggest performances of the week, dropping to 21.87 in the 200m to take over the top spot statewide while also improving to 49.55 in the 400m. Close behind, Kylor Loomis (Waterford Union) continued his strong season with a 22.17 200m PR and a 49.61 outing in the 400m, while also leading the 100m at 11.05.
Another major jump came from Brock Radloff (Prairie du Chien), who cut his 100m down to 11.33 from 11.95, finishing second in a large field and moving to No. 2 among sophomores. Juan Randle (Sun Prairie East) also made a notable leap, dropping from 12.01 to 11.55 to win his race convincingly.
On the girls side, Ashley Gregerson (Hudson) posted a 26.84 PR in the 200m while also improving significantly in the long jump. Juliana Doerner (Mishicot) led the week with a 12.71/26.13 sweep. She was followed by strong showings from Josee Downing (Columbus) and Tia Anderson (Deerfield/Cambridge). In the 400m, a tight group led by Bethany Daugherty (Cuba City) and Elin Gilles (Onalaska) hovered right around 1:01.
Distance
Grayson Truskowski (Bangor High School) delivered a significant improvement in the 3200m, dropping nearly 30 seconds to 10:32.27 and setting a school record. The jump from 11:01 shows strong early-season development, and points to his potential later in the season.
Among top performers, Jonathan Simon (Abundant Life Christian) doubled back with wins in both the 800m (1:57.27) and 1600m (4:39.94), establishing himself as one of the most consistent underclass distance runners in the state. In the 3200m, freshman Alex Bertram (Middleton) led at 10:07.24, followed closely by Chandler Pabon (DeForest) and Isaiah Morales (Unity) in last week's underclass rankings.
For the girls, Paxtyn Duellman (Cochrane-Fountain City) led the 800m at 2:18.12, while Madeline Driscoll (Lancaster) and Samantha Zilm (Neenah) posted strong 1600m marks just over five minutes. In the 3200m, Macie Boe (Amery) broke 11 minutes with a 10:59.91 to lead the week's underclassmen and take the title at the Somerset Invitational.
Hurdles
Croix Krohn (D. C. Everest) made a massive drop in the 60m hurdles, improving from 10.67 to 9.21, while Bakary Sanneh (Monona Grove) cut his 110m hurdle time down to 15.79 from 16.63, continuing his upward trend after also placing among the top performers in the 300m hurdles.
Among weekly underclass leaders, Simon Horzen (Oostburg) ran 15.19 to top the 110m hurdles, while Adam Roder (Elk Mound) led the 300m hurdles at 42.23, just ahead of Owen Fox (Neenah).
On the girls side, Ellie Davel (St. Mary Central) stood out with a major breakthrough, improving to 15.40 in the 100m hurdles to take over the No. 1 sophomore ranking and move to third overall in the state. Aliya Cox (Suring) led the 300m hurdles at 48.96, with a tight pack of future stars following behind.
Jumps
Alex VanHelvoirt (Wrightstown) delivered one of the top performances of the week, clearing 6-6 in the high jump to move to No. 3 statewide while also improving to 20-9 in the long jump. His progression across multiple events signals significant versatility.
Top performers included Bray Herd (Beloit Turner) leading underclassmen in the long jump at 21-1.5, while Aiden Malliet (Shoreland Lutheran) topped the high jump at 6-4. In the triple jump, Cash Kuehn (Sevastopol) led a competitive group over 41 feet.
On the girls side, Ashley Gregerson (Hudson) added a strong long jump PR of 15-8.5 to her sprint success. Avena Meyers (Mount Horeb) led all underclass long jumpers at 17-5.5, while Nyajuacni Riak (Madison La Follette) cleared 5-4 to top the high jump.
Throws
Wesley Keller (Burlington) headlined the group with a massive improvement in the discus, throwing 159-9 to break his previous best by over 30 feet, set a school record, and move into the top 10 statewide. Close behind, Mason Campbell (Sun Prairie East) and Kennrich Siewert (Johnson Creek) also posted huge PRs, both moving into the top 20 in Wisconsin.
In the shot put, Bode Schulz (Rice Lake) improved to 54-2.5 to take over the top sophomore ranking.
For the girls, Emma Severson (Neenah) dominated both throwing events, winning the shot put (46-11.5) and discus (150-5). Supporting marks came from Molly Meyer (Clear Lake) and Lucy Hahn (Osceola) in the discus, while Taylor Bendixen (Flambeau) represented the freshmen class well in the shot put.
